I’m writing a book!

I’m happy to announce that I’ve started writing my first book. This book will be a natural extension of the work I’m doing. I’m delighted to have this opportunity to share my knowledge and passion for beer with a wider audience and I’m very much looking forward to assembling the book and seeing it published.
Should everything go according to plan, my book will be released next year. I’m lucky to be working with a fantastic team on this project. The official announcement went out a few days ago. Here it is:
BEEROLOGY by Mirella Amato, Canada’s first Master Cicerone (the beer service industry’s top certification), has Mirella exploring the world of beer, its styles, flavours and pairing options, using her signature style. North American rights to publisher Robert McCullough at Appetite by Random House for Spring 2014. Says Robert McCullough: “I am thrilled to add Mirella Amato to the Appetite by Random House list. She embodies the world of beer like no one else in the industry.” Deal arranged by Meghan Macdonald of the Transatlantic Literary Agency.

It’s great to hear that you’re writing a book to share your vast knowledge. I hope to see it on the West Coast of Canada. Do you think there will be a national book tour? I’d love to have a chance to chat for a few minutes with you and sign your book. Best of luck!
